Koizumi et al. [16] focused on analysis of a panel of salivary cytokines in non-small cell lung cancer patients, and their results showed increased levels of salivary interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), interleukin-10 (IL-10), interleukin-7 (IL-7), interleukin-1b (IL-1b), tumor necrosis factor (TNF), platelet-derived growth factor-BB, C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 10 (CXCL10), C-C motif chemokine ligand 3, and C-C motif chemokine ligand 4 compared to the healthy control group. Here, IL7 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
