The study conducted by Lee et al. [9], based on two groups of patients, the OSCC group and the non-cancer group, showed that the levels of eight biomarkers (plasma IP-10 and salivary eotaxin, IFNg, macrophage inflammatory protein-1b (MIP-1b), IL-1b, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-a) were significantly higher in the OSCC group that in the control one. Here, CXCL10 is linked to cancer.
