LIPG and coronary artery disorder: In the subgroup analysis stratified by type of diseases, the results indicated that the LIPG 584C/T polymorphism was significantly associated with decreased CAD risk in the subgroup of CAD in three genetic models (TT vs. CC: OR = 0.55, 95% CI = 0.34–0.88, P=0.014; TT vs. CT + CC: OR = 0.66, 95% CI = 0.49–0.89, P=0.006; and T vs. C: OR = 0.79, 95% CI = 0.62–0.99, P=0.043), and the same results were shown in the HB group (TT vs. CC: OR = 0.48, 95% CI = 0.26–0.88, P=0.018) and PCR-RFLP (TT vs. CC: OR = 0.42, 95% CI = 0.25–0.70, P=0.001).
