miRNA‐211, miR‐4270‐5p and miR‐449a inhibited the progression of HCC and CRC by down‐regulating SATB2 expression, and overexpression of SATB2 counteracted the inhibitory effects of these miRNAs on cell proliferation and tumour growth, suggesting the oncogenic potential of SATB2 in cancer.20, 25, 46. This evidence concerns the gene SATB2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
