INS and hypertensive disorder: Analyses revealed that nationality, highest level of education, alcohol intake, soft drink and tea ingestion, hypertension, BMI, waist circumference, triceps skin fold, SBP, DBP, physical activity, carbohydrates, fat or protein intake, LDL, HDL, TC, TG, insulin, HbA1c and fasting blood glucose levels were potential risk factors for newly diagnosed diabetes.
