TCGA data analysis using gene expression data from 495 tumor and normal samples from GDC portal of National Cancer Institute (http://portal.gdc.cancer.gov) revealed almost 3.4 fold higher expression of GPR56 in tumor samples as compared to normal samples indicating an overall difference in expression of GPR56 in prostate cancer patients (Fig 10B). This evidence concerns the gene ADGRG1 and prostate cancer.
