BRAF and central nervous system neoplasm: In relation to the largest study by Schindler et al. [35], who analyzed 1320 CNS tumor cases of pediatric and adult patients, including 77 GGs and 97 PAs of which 18% and 9% carried BRAF V600E mutation, we demonstrated a quite similar incidence rate, namely, 13.3% and 14.7%, respectively.
