The studies revealed that BRAF V600E mutation occurs in 100% of hairy cell leukemia [18], 50-60% of unresectable and metastatic malignant melanomas [19], approximately 30-50% of papillary thyroid carcinomas [20], 38% of Langerhans cell histiocytosis [21], 15-35% of serous low-grade and borderline ovarian carcinomas [22], 5-15% of colorectal adenocarcinomas [22], and 3-5% of non-small-cell lung carcinoma [9, 17–24].
