IL10 and myocardial infarction: Serial echocardiography at baseline and days 7, 14, and 28 after MI (Figure 2, C–E) showed IL-10 improved left ventricular (LV) fractional shortening compared with the vehicle group at day 14 and day 28 (P < 0.05 vs. MI + vehicle), and this protective effect of IL-10 was inhibited by SnPP (P < 0.05 vs. IL-10).
