Network analysis revealed over-representation of genes involved in pathways related to glucose metabolism disorder (Irs1, Cish, Pdk4, Rgs2, Xpo1), inflammation (Cish, Nr1d1, Dusp10, Pde8a, Tp53inp1, Pdk4, ubiquitin), accumulation of lipid (Nr1d1, Lpin1, Pdk4) and adipocyte differentiation (Nr1d1, Lpin1, Rgs2, Irs1, Cpxm1), all of which are implicated in MG-induced transcriptome alterations (Figure 3). The gene discussed is CPXM1; the disease is glucose metabolism disease.
