In model 2 which adjusted for age, gender, BMI, education attainment, physical activity, smoking, and history of hypertension, the overall ApoA1 level in NAFLD patients was positively associated with baPWV (OR, 1.69; 95% CI [1.08–2.66], P < 0.05); ApoA1 level in male NAFLD patients was significantly associated with baPWV (OR, 2.80; 95% CI [1.55–5.04], P < 0.001). Here, APOA1 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
