STAT5B and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive: A study by Wang et al. showed that a 21-mer decoy oligodeoxynucleotides (dODN) could attenuate STAT5 activity in CML, reducing the expression of STAT5 target genes and thus decreasing cell viability and inducing G0/G1 phase cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.
