In our experiment, the stimulation of ethanol activated the immune system in mice and triggered cascade immune response in cells, causing phosphorylation and decomposition of the I-κB family; thus, the NF-κB was released from the I-κB/NF-κB complex, and significantly enhanced the expression levels of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6, which promote the expansion of inflammation in ulcer tissues. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is ulcer disease.
