ERBB2 and cancer: Concerning their activity in cancer cells, miR-193a -3p and -5p were observed to silence several targets such as Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) [38,39], Erb-B2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (ERBB2) [40], phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 3 (PIK3R3) [21], mechanistic target of rapamycin kinase (mTOR) [21], myeloid leukemia cell differentiation (MCL1) [17], and nucleolar and spindle associated protein 1 (NUSAP1) [38].
