CRP and Decreased total neutrophil count: Regarding the available laboratory data, non-SCT patients had higher rates of severe neutropenia (< 0.5 × 109/mL) and high CRP (> 20 mg/dL) as compared to ASCT and allo-SCT (p < 0.0001), whereas high IL-6, ferritin and D-dimer levels were similar among groups, although these latter laboratory values were available in less than half of the patients (see Table 2).
