As reported previously, common chromosomal translocations such as t(8;21)/RUNX1-RUNX1T1, t(15;17)/PML-RARA, and inv(16)/CBFB-MYH11 are frequently observed, and numerous uncommon chromosomal aberrations also exist in AML [12]. This evidence concerns the gene RUNX1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
