To identify microbial taxa that correlate with impaired insulin clearance during diet-induced obesity, we compared the fecal microbiome characteristics in the Chow-R and HFD-R mice after 6 weeks on a chow diet (Figure 4D) and after 2 weeks of HFD feeding (Figure 4F). This evidence concerns the gene INS and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
