Intriguingly, we found that patients with greater expression of the FOXM1 gene significantly had significantly poorer prognoses than the other group with lesser expression of FOXM1 in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), kidney renal clear-cell carcinoma (KIRC), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), brain lower grade glioma (LGG), liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) (Figure 5). This evidence concerns the gene FOXM1 and lung adenocarcinoma.
