Higher levels of circulating IL‐10 correlate with shorter event‐free survival and higher lactose dehydrogenase (LDH) levels51 and the genes for the IL10 receptors (IL10RA and IL10RB) are amplified in 21% (IL10RA) and 10% (IL10RB) of DLBCL patients, respectively, and associated with higher IL10RA and IL10RB mRNA than normal subjects.40 The gene discussed is IL10RB; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
