Recent years, many studies have reported aberrant expression of LEF1 in various types of cancer, including solid tumors (esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), prostate cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)) [10–12] and blood tumors (acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)) [13–15]. Here, LEF1 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
