We also analyzed the expressions of extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase 5 (ERK5) [33, 41–44], insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R) [45–48] and oxysterol-binding protein-related protein 8 (ORP8) [49–52], as these molecules have been shown to be targets of miR-143 by at least 4 groups and are involved in cardiomyopathy or cardiac remodeling.
