Activation of the NF-κB transcription factor is associated with tumor progression and inflammation responses.46–49 It has been demonstrated that activation of NF-κB signaling was related to the high MHC-I expression in neuroblastoma previously.50 In our study, the p65 sub-unit of NF-κB was also shown to induce overexpression of MHC-I and PD-L1 in NSCLC cells in our study, but specific p65 inhibitor failed to suppress MMC-induced PD-L1 upregulation. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and neoplasm.
