TNF and inflammatory bowel disease: Sanctuary et al. [21] found that down-regulation of miR-106a expression can attenuate intestinal inflammation mediated by TNF- α, and miR-106a knockout can reduce chronic ileitis in mice, and out that it is related to the inhibition of post-transcriptional regulation of IL-10 release through the binding of NF- κB promoter, which proves that miR-106a has the potential to treat chronic inflammation including IBD.
