More specifically, treatment with LP-YS4-H significantly increased the levels of (8.05 ± 0.35 μmol/mg) and SOD (22.69 ± 1.98 μmol/gprot) in colon tissue and markedly decreased those of MPO (10.98 ± 1.05 mU/mg) and MDA (0.51 ± 0.09 nmol/mg) when compared to colitis model group.
