The recurrence of cervical cancer was observed significantly more often in patients who were under 35 years of age (p = 0.02), had squamous cell keratinous carcinoma (p = 0.03), had a depth of tumor invasion of 10 mm or more (p = 0.02), whose histology results showed the presence of fragmentation phenomenon (p = 0.01), and the presence of tumor emboli in CD34-positive vessels (p = 0.004) and podoplanin-positive vessels (p = 0.009).
