In TC, among those over-expressed in males, we found PPARG, previously reported in thyroid carcinomas (Raman and Koenig, 2014), ERCC5, MYH11, LEMD2, ZNF133, and IDH1, the latter found to be mutated in thyroid carcinomas (Yang et al., 2012). This evidence concerns the gene ZNF133 and thyroid gland carcinoma.
