Further analysis identified a novel MDSCs subpopulation enriched in CD39 and CD73 in tumor lesions of NSCLC patients defined as Lin−CD14−CD11b+CD39+CD73+ and Lin−CD14+CD11b+CD39+CD73+ that were found to be positively correlated to disease progression and were reduced after chemotherapy cycles suggesting them as predictive tools for chemotherapy response (254). This evidence concerns the gene NT5E and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
