RARRES2 and psoriasis: Among the sensitive chemerin strains were C. tuberculostearicum, S. capitis, C. simulans, S. epidermidis, S. hominis, and S. aureus. These strains were also reported to be present in higher quantities in non-lesional skin of psoriasis patients compared to healthy skin (Gao et al., 2008; Table 2), when epidermal chemerin levels may start to decline.
