By computing the proportion of full-length isoform to the deletion isoforms, we found the percentage score sorted thyroid tumors into subtypes; with the high full-length fractions of TERT found in PTC, HCC, and FTC, while intermediate fractions were found in FVPTC, Hürthle cell adenomas, and follicular adenomas and finally, low fractions in adenomatoid nodules (62). The gene discussed is TERT; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
