ESR1 and neoplasm: Negative prognostic factors for developing bone metastases reported in literature are: tumor size (>5 cm), higher tumor grade, tumor subtypes (lobular carcinoma), number of positive lymph nodes, extent of disease, duration of the symptoms, age > 60 years and hemoglobin less than 11 g/L, while positive prognostic factors found were estrogen receptor positivity, solitary bone presentation, bisphosphonate treatment.
