ALB and interstitial lung disease: Previously reported malignant risk factors include older age, male gender, dysphagia, cutaneous necrosis, rapid-onset myositis, cutaneous vasculitis, Gottron sign, heliotrope rash, reduced serum ALB, and elevated ALT, AST, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and C-reactive protein, while protective factors include ILD, arthralgia, Raynaud and positive anti–Jo–1.[5,9,12,28] To our knowledge, few of those studies were paired case-controlled.
