The higher levels of NT‐pro‐BNP values 6 months after MI were found to be a good marker of infarct size and were associated with LVSD, HF, and recurrent ischemic events during follow‐up (Kleczynski et al., 2013; Radosavljevic‐Radovanovic et al., 2016). The gene discussed is NPPB; the disease is myocardial infarction.
