According to our recent study and other studies, fire needle therapy can inhibit inflammatory reactions by inhibiting the abnormal proliferation of T cells (such as CD8+T cells) and reducing the number of IL-2 and IFNγ; in addition, it can increase the number of CD4+T cells, IL-4, IL-10 and the ratio of CD4+T cells and CD8+T cells; and also, it can promote the balance of Th1 and Th2 cells by reducing the number of Th1 cells and increasing the number of Th2 cells to improve the condition of psoriasis [25–27]. Here, CD8A is linked to psoriasis.
