MAPT and Lewy body dementia: Surprisingly, substantial tau fibril reductions with statistical significance were found for the caudate (p < 0.0001 vs. AD: PD: −73.8%; PDD: −71.8%; DLB: −60.3%) and putamen of LBDs (PD: −75.2%, p = 0.0011; PDD: −72.6%, p = 0.0026; DLB: −56.5%, p = 0.0176) when compared to controls.
