According to the stratification by cancer type, the result of poor survival in patients with high expression of Rab27 was consistently identified in lung cancer (HR 2.17, 95% CI 1.36–3.47, p = 0.001) and pancreatic cancer (HR 2.77, 95% CI 1.50–5.11, p = 0.001) except colorectal cancer (HR 0.90, 95% CI 0.15–5.44, p = 0.911) (Fig. 3A). This evidence concerns the gene RAB27A and lung carcinoma.
