The latest TRAPS classification criteria proposed by Gattorno et al. for patients carrying TNFRSF1A gene variants [9] were satisfied at disease onset by 64 out of 80 patients (80%); TRAPS classification criteria purely based on clinical features (and no reference to genetic findings) [9] were fulfilled by 46 out of 80 patients (57.5%). This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF1A and TNF receptor 1-associated periodic fever syndrome.
