Anti-LGI1 encephalitis is characterized by cognitive impairment, facial-brachial dystonic seizures, sleep disorders, behavioural changes, and is seen in older people with an average age of onset being 63 years.1,6,7 Our patient was of age 54 years and presented with muttering to self, vacant staring, abnormal body movements, and sleep disturbances. This evidence concerns the gene LGI1 and sleep disorder.
