Moreover, patients who exhibited upregulation of AC104041.1 and increased Wnt2B expression had the worst survival (Fig. 4j and Fig. S4I), Wnt2B expression was shown to be positively correlated with AC104041.1 (Fig. 4k and Fig. S4J) and negatively correlated with miR-6817-3p (Fig. 4l), suggesting that AC104041.1 stabilized Wnt2B mRNA by competitively binding to miR-6817-3p and its co-expression strongly affected HNSCC patient survival. This evidence concerns the gene WNT2B and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
