Co-treatment of human colon adenoma cells with trichostatin A and PN significantly inhibited the trichostatin A-induced cellular levels of acetyl NF-κB/p65 and decreased NF-κB/p65 binding to the promoter of putative tumor suppressor gene, stanniocalcin-1 (STC1) [147]. The gene discussed is STC1; the disease is colon adenoma.
