ANXA8 and cancer: Bioinformatics analysis identified several ANXA8-regulatory miRNAs (Figure 6A) [110], including miRNAs (e.g., miR-342 shown in Figure 6B) that can be released in exosomes that are 50–140 nm vesicles containing proteins, mRNA, and miRNAs, shed by normal and cancer cells [122,123,124] and can be potentially detected in non-invasive liquid biopsies.
