IKBKB and lung carcinoma: This is important, not only because it further underscores the relevance of IKKβ as a therapeutic target for KRAS-induced lung cancer, but also because it suggests that using IKKβ inhibition therapy as an adjuvant approach to standard chemotherapy might constitute a promising strategy to lower recurrence rates, reduce metastatic dissemination and improve survival of KRAS-induced lung cancer patients.
