Putting these observations together, the combination treatment of CD40 agonist and IL‐15 had a more profound anti‐tumor effect as it caused a significant increase in the amount of anti‐tumor immune cells (NK, NK T and CD8+ T cells) compared to control or single‐agent treatment that was commensurate with a decrease in immunosuppressive Tregs, resulting in an enhanced CD8/Treg ratio within the tumors.
