With the aim of finding novel biomarkers for GC diagnosis and prognosis assessment, we compared expression levels of these genes in 27 pairs of tumorous tissues and patient‐matched normal tissues and found only 2 of 18 genes (ITGA11 and LAMB1) expressed significantly higher in tumorous tissues than normal tissues (P < .05) (Figure 6), whereas 3 of 18 genes (LAMA2, ITGA9 and RELN) expressed significantly lower in tumorous tissues (P < .05) (Figure 6). The gene discussed is ITGA9; the disease is neoplasm.
