Based on the results presented here and elsewhere (Hariton et al., 2017; Pollmann et al., 2018; Spindler & Waschke, 2018), EGFR (Sayar et al., 2014), VEGFR2, and TrkA, as well as their downstream targets (Figure 8), seem to be more promising therapeutic targets for modulating intraepidermal blistering induced by pemphigus autoantibodies. Here, EGFR is linked to pemphigus.
