CTNNB1 and colorectal carcinoma: Our positive nuclear staining in CRC (41%) and its association with the positive status for nuclear CTNNB1 intensity compared to non-CRC samples are in contrast to a study by Brabletz et al. [26], which showed that β-Catenin is localized in the cytoplasm and membrane of the tumor cells whereas in our study it was mainly concentrated in the cytoplasm and the nucleus.
