The most effective the inhibition of α-amylase, α-glucosidase, and pancreatic lipase and antiproliferative activities, reflected in the inhibition of viability of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma, and bladder cancer as well as T-cell leukemia cell, were shown by the flowers and leaves of S. officinalis L. Thus, the data provided in this work indicate the possibility of using its individual morphological parts in the prevention of selected disease entities. This evidence concerns the gene PNLIP and urinary bladder cancer.
