These data gain support from a previous report on TQ that highlighted the ability of TQ to cause colorectal cancer cell (HCT 116) arrest in the G2-M phase; TQ caused a G2/M phase cell cycle arrest in both TFK1 and HuCCT-1 cells in vitro and resulted in decreased expression of the G2/M checkpoint protein cyclin B1. Here, PROS1 is linked to colorectal cancer.
