Genetically predicted TNF levels showed a suggestive positive association with risk of venous thromboembolism (OR 2.18, 95% CI 1.32, 3.59) and inverse associations with risk of endometrial cancer (OR 0.25, 95% CI 0.07, 0.94) and lung cancer (OR 0.45, 95% CI 0.21, 0.94). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and lung cancer.
