By using TMA containing 306 ccRCC patients, we revealed a correlation between increased GYS1 expression and unfavorable patient outcome, higher Fuhrman nuclear grade, higher T stage, and sarcomatoid differentiation, which pinpointed GYS1 as an independent potential prognostic biomarker of ccRCC. This evidence concerns the gene GYS1 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
