In regard to IFN-γ+ Th17 cells, we found a higher percentage in psoriasis patients (12.7 ± 2.3) compared to healthy subjects (3 ± 0.62; P < 0.01; Figure 3(d)), which indicates the high capacity of PB Th17 cells to acquire pathogenic features in psoriasis patients. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and psoriasis.
