In the present study, we aimed to extend our previous findings using a much larger population within the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) population to examine the relationship between pre-diagnostically level of the most promising previously reported B-cell activation markers (sCD23, sCD27, sCD30, and CXCL13) and subsequent development of BCL major subtypes, i.e. diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), follicular lymphoma (FL), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Here, CXCL13 is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
