To test whether aberrant regulation of FBX8 was involved in tumor dormancy, we examined the expression of cell dormancy-related markers (including CK, E-cadherin, Sox-2, and CD133) and cell dormancy activation related markers (including Vimentin, cyclin-D1, Ki-67, C-myc, and VEGF) in the subcutaneous tumors formed by previously established SW480/MOCK, SW480/FBX8, SW620/NC, and SW620/shFBX8 stable cell lines13 in nude mice. Here, VIM is linked to neoplasm.
