To test whether FBX8 can regulate tumor dormancy in CRC, we sort to find an appropriate cell lines to establish an in vitro cell culture model of tumor dormancy among 12 CRC cells lines by examining the expression of stem cell markers CD44, CD133, SOX-2, SOX-9, and FBX8-interacting proteins HIF-1α, C-Myc, and CDK414,15.
